CALLAGHAN CRUISER

Suits beginners and families

This tour is specifically designed for first time riders and families. We will introduce you to the sport of snowmobiling in a safe and exciting environment. Journey through the pristine Callaghan Valley to the historic NorthAir Goldmine site for a fabulous introduction to the backcountry. Follow wide, winding trails at a comfortable pace for beginners. Experience the perfect mix of easy riding and spectacular scenery.

WILDERNESS RUN

Suits adventurous beginner and intermediate riders.

Experience the next step in adventure snowmobiling! On this tour, aimed at guests with some experience, you can progress into more exciting backcountry terrain. Rugged BC Wilderness surrounds you while you ride through thickly forested trails and explore frozen lakes. Discover awe-inspiring landscape and experience the excitement and freedom of a truly CANADIAN backcountry adventure. Guests should have some previous snowmobile, ATV or jet-ski experience

CANADIAN CLASSIC

Suits adventurous beginner and intermediate riders.

Be thrilled by the sensation of driving or share this mountain experience with a friend as you embark on our classic après tour on Blackcomb. Escape the winter shadows as you meander through old growth forest and up cat tracks at dusk with a stop at our custom built igloo. Enjoy a mug of hot chocolate and savor the views of the Village lights and peaks of the Coast Mountain Range.

YUKON BREAKFAST

Suits adventurous beginner and intermediate riders.

Make your way through the remote backcountry of the Callaghan Valley to our rustic cabin on Sproatt Mountain for a full Canadian Yukon breakfast. Cooked on an old fashioned wood stove, this skillet style mountain feast includes Canadian back bacon, Yukon gold potatoes, scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, sautéed onions, and bell peppers along with pancakes, real maple syrup and cowboy coffee.   After you have had your fill, explore a frozen lake, or head off into the alpine before you descend back to reality.

Crystal Hut Fondue by Snowmobile

BACKCOUNTRY X

Suits Advanced Riders. Previous snowmobile experience recommended.

Let our experienced and professional backcountry guides show you a real CANADIAN big mountain adventure! Conquer the infamous staircase to reach the alpine, and then blast through rolling hills of powder with 360 degree views of Whistler. This extreme ride is designed to introduce you to avalanche safety, challenge your skill and push your limits. Tour includes a packed lunch prepared by the Bearfoot Bistro.

Duration: Half Day – 4 hours (round trip)
Cost: $299 Single Riders Only

THE POWDERHOUND

Advanced Riders ONLY. Previous snowmobile experience required.

Get your adrenaline pumping on a new 900 mountain sled before conquering the infamous staircase to reach a giant old growth forest, open meadows, frozen alpine lakes and vast snow fields of the Callaghan. Master the riding skills of powder turns, side hills, and hill climbs. Tour includes avalanche safety equipment and a packed lunch prepared by the Bearfoot Bistro.

BRALORNE OR BUST

Advanced Riders ONLY. Previous snowmobile experience required.

Adventure to Bralorne, a remote wilderness town, 100 kilometres north of Whistler. Once one of the most vibrant gold rush towns in North America, complete with churches, post office, bars and ski hills, abandoned and forgotten in 1971. Includes transportation, stop in Pemberton, 60 km snowmobile journey over the Hurley mountain pass complete with stunning views, deli-style lunch and new 900 mountain snowmobile.

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION


Important Booking Information

  • Driver’s License: Persons going as a single rider must be at least 19 years old and fully licensed to drive automobiles in their country of residence. All drivers who are 19 years old are required to show their license upon check in.
  • Release of Liability and Waiver Form: It is mandatory for all tour participants to sign a Release of Liability and Waiver Form. Any participants under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian present to sign on their behalf.
  • Check in: At the reservations desk in the Carleton Lodge 15-30 mins prior to tour departure.
  • Helmets: It is mandatory for all Snowmobile Tour participants to wear a Department of Transport Safety Approved Full Faced Helmet while on tour.
  • Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations within 24 hours of the departure time are subject to a full charge of the tour cost. Groups of 10 or more require 72 hour notification of cancellation and will be subject to a booking fee. Group cancellation within 72 hours will be non-refundable. Canadian Wilderness Adventures Ltd. reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient bookings or events beyond our control. Full refunds will be made or alternate dates will be offered in these unlikely events.
  • Collision Coverage: Zero-deductible collision coverage of $20.00 per driver, per day is mandatory on all Snowmobile tours.
  • Alcohol: Under no circumstances is any person suspected to be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol permitted to go as a driver or passenger on any tour. Persons denied participation will not receive a refund.
  • Pregnancy: Safety regulations require that Canadian Wilderness Adventures not permit pregnant women to ride as driver or passenger on a Snowmobile, ATV or Dogsled. All mothers to be are welcome on our Snowcat or Jeep tours.
  • Health: Adventure sport activities are not recommended for individuals who suffer back or neck pain, heart or respiratory distress. Consult your physician prior to participation. If you have any food allergies or food requirements please let you Reservations Agent know.
  • Weight: The ideal weight for a smooth ride on snowmobiles is 170kg (350 lbs.) or less. Please keep this in mind when organizing double riders.
  • Age Restrictions: Passengers must be 6+ years old. A younger child, depending on their size, strength, and capability may be allowed to ride in front on the guide’s machine.

All tours are tentative until minimum numbers are met. Gratuities are appreciated for great service.
Please check in at the Reservations Desk downstairs in the Carleton Lodge, underneath the Longhorn Saloon. The Carleton Lodge is located at the base of Whistler Mountain, across from the village gondolas.
