Mountain Explorer on Blackcomb
Wide mountain roads. Perfect for beginners, couples & families.
This tour is specifically designed for first time riders and families. We will introduce you to the sport of ATVing in a safe and exciting environment. Discover Blackcomb Mountain the “Canadian” way. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Whistler Valley and snowcapped peaks of the Coast Mountain Range. Test your skills while you explore a network of wide mountain trails ascending to Blackcomb’s beautiful alpine. A great mix of exploring, sightseeing, and adventure!

WILD WILD WEST
For more advanced riders. A mix of moderate to challenging terrain.
A more challenging ATV ride through the rugged terrain of the Callaghan Valley and along Whistler’s longest single track ATV trail. Experience the pristine wilderness of Whistler’s backcountry as you travel along forested trails, past pristine lakes, up the challenging Staircase, across narrow bridges and through natural ATV playgrounds.

Salmon Bake by ATV
An unforgettable adventure! The original Whistler salmon bake, known by reputation as Whistler’s best adventure dining tour. You’ll enjoy the incredible experience of climbing your ATV 6,000 ft up Blackcomb Mountain to the Crystal Hut with the most spectacular patio in Whistler. Relax and enjoy the sweet sounds of live entertainment as your chef prepares a Pacific Coast classic including maple glazed wild BC Salmon, local vegetables, fresh salads and a delicious dessert. Treat yourself to a unique dining experience like no other!

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION
Important Booking Information
- Driver’s License: Persons going as a single rider must be at least 19 years old and fully licensed to drive automobiles in their country of residence. All drivers who are 19 years old are required to show their license upon check in.
- Release of Liability and Waiver Form: It is mandatory for all tour participants to sign a Release of Liability and Waiver Form. Any participants under the age of 19 must have a parent or guardian present to sign on their behalf.
- Helmets: It is mandatory for all ATV Tour participants to wear a Department of Transport Safety Approved Full Faced Helmet while on tour.
- Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations within 24 hours of the departure time are subject to a full charge of the tour cost. Groups of 10 or more require 72 hour notification of cancellation and will be subject to a booking fee. Group cancellation within 72 hours will be non-refundable. Canadian Wilderness Adventures Ltd. reserves the right to cancel tours due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient bookings or events beyond our control. Full refunds will be made or alternate dates will be offered in these unlikely events.
- Collision Coverage: Zero-deductible collision coverage of $25.00 per driver, per day is mandatory on all ATV or Snowmobile tours.
- Alcohol: Under no circumstances is any person suspected to be under the influence of any drugs or alcohol permitted to go as a driver or passenger on any tour. Persons denied participation will not receive a refund.
- Pregnancy: Safety regulations require that Canadian Wilderness Adventures not permit pregnant women to ride as driver or passenger on a Snowmobile, ATV or Dogsled. All mothers to be are welcome on our Snowcat or Jeep tours.
- Health: Adventure sport activities are not recommended for individuals who suffer back or neck pain, heart or respiratory distress. Consult your physician prior to participation. If you have any food allergies or food requirements please let you Reservations Agent know.
- Weight: The ideal weight for a smooth ride on atvs is 170kg (350 lbs.) or less. Please keep this in mind when organizing double riders.
- Age restrictions: For the Mountain Explorer and Salmon Bake via ATV passengers must be 5+ years old. A younger child, depending on their size, strength, and capability may be allowed to ride in front on the guide’s machine.
All tours are tentative until minimum numbers are met. Gratuities are appreciated for great service.
